Chenille Cushion- Black and Beige-
These cushions are inspired by the intricate and time-consuming chenille tufting that decorates the lower portion of a Pwo Karen unmarried women's tunic. Each cushion is handwoven by a master artisan and takes days to weave. The cotton yarn for the chenille tufting is inserted during the weaving process and is then painstakingly trimmed by hand afterwards- a process which takes weeks.

Small Diamond Cushion- Black and Beige-
The diamond pattern in this cushion originates from traditional clothing motifs and has been repurposed and resized to create a striking repeating diamond pattern in contrast colours. Our small diamond cushion reflects Pwo Karen traditional design esthetique and heritage, and is a statement piece in a modern, consciously designed home.

Exceptionally soft, lightweight, with exquisite natural sheen, our cashmere throws are the most luxurious of all our handwoven products. Our cashmere throws are handwoven in Nepal by Nepalese artisans using time-honoured techniques and are a blend of soft and luxurious cashmere with wool added for strength and durability.

Care of Chalk Cashmere Throw: This is a one of a kind, handwoven product. Please treat with care and respect and it will endure. Spot clean, hand wash with cold water and air dry or dry clean. We recommend hand washing in cold water with a wool wash and air dry over a towel bar or line or on a flat surface. (never put in a dryer even for 5 or 10 minutes as the fibre will shrink).
